Medium carbon ferro manganese is a ferroalloy that contains a high amount of manganese. It’s a key component in the production of steel and iron.

Medium carbon ferro manganese is used in the following ways:
• Steel and casting industries: Helps remove sulfur from steel and improves
properties like durability, machinability, and malleability.
• Deoxidizing molten metal: Helps deoxidize molten metal.
• E6013 electrodes: Mainly used to produce E6013 electrodes.
• Welding industry: Ferro manganese powders are useful in the welding
industry.

Medium carbon ferro manganese is made by the aluminothermic process or by the MOR Process.
