Noble Ferro Alloys / Ferro Molybdenum

Ferro Molybdenum

Ferro molybdenum (FeMo) is a versatile alloy made from iron and molybdenum. It’s a hardening agent used in many heat-treatable alloy steels. It’s also used in high-strength low alloys, stainless steels, cast irons, high-speed tool steels, and superalloy applications
Ferro molybdenum is made by reducing technical grade molybdic oxide and ferrosilicon through aluminothermic reduction. After the metal solidifies, it’s milled and sieved to get the right particle size for adding to steel and cast iron.
Ferro molybdenum is mainly available in particle sizes of 10–100 mm. It’s available in two major grades, with a pure molybdenum content of 60– 75%. It has a melting point of 1900°C.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged
